Space Invaders T-shirts

It was 40 years ago when Space Invaders first hit the arcades, which makes me feel very old indeed! Do you remember the feeling you had when you played Space Invaders for the very first time? I remember playing the arcade version at our local youth club. A whole group of kids would gather around to watch you wipe out the lines of invaders that were forever creeping towards you, and it was that simple but menacing "dum dum" sound of the aliens which increased in speed that really got to me. In 1980, the game was released on the Atari 2600 and helped to quadruple sales of the console. The arcade version was still highly popular, with Taito having sold around 300,000 cabinets in Japan alone by 1980. If you're looking for a great 80s T-shirt or costume idea then a Cafe 80's theme is a quirky idea which is simple to create. Add the baseball cap that McFly wore in the film for a simple, but effective costume. Marty McFly Baseball Cap  You will find several suppliers selling this hat at both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com . Cafe 80's Raglan Sleeve Ladies Shirt This unofficial design is my favourite from all the Cafe 80's tops I've seen and features raglan sleeves to give it a retro baseball style. It features a skinny fit and comes in three sizes for women from 10 to 16. This design is only available in the UK, so apologies to our U.S. readers. However, see the next
