Create a My Little Pony 80s Unicorn Costume

For this post, I want to show you how to put together and simple but effective My Little Pony Unicorn Costume based on the one from the original 80s Unicorn and Pegasus  Collection, which will be ideal for the many 80s parties, events and festivals that seem to be increasing in popularity each year.

I found this retro My Little Pony T-shirt on Amazon with the classic rainbow logo. You can base your costume around this by adding a unicorn headband and some accessories.

This unicorn head piece would be ideal for adding to the T-shirt to create a simple costume. It includes the spiral horn, ears and attached wig.

You can replicate the original 80s white, purple and blue unicorn below using white accessories and a wig which I have hand-picked for you below...

Zaxxon T-shirt - Pay Homage to the 80s Video Game

One of the most visually impressive games to be released in 1982, was the isometric space shooter Zaxxon. It was THE game to own, and I still remember the excitement of seeing the cassette game available for my Atari 800XL, especially as we had a limited choice of games for the machine here in the UK. The XL/XE conversion was particularly fast, which made the game pretty challenging to say the least, and judging your height was hard to master!
So I was delighted to see these newly available Zaxxon T-shirts being sold at Amazon, which will allow us 8 bit fans to celebrate the game in style!

Sadly, the first design here is only available at Amazon's US store, but you can order an alternative design at the UK store. The best range of Zaxxon tees can be found at Teepublic, who ship to the UK. Unfortunately, I can't use their images on this blog, so you'll have to hop over there to see what they look like!
