Captain Caveman T-shirt

Captain Caveman T-shirt for Men
Men's Captain Caveman T-shirt
For this post, I wanted to show you a cool Captain Caveman T-shirt I discovered on Amazon. It has been receiving rave reviews and is the most popular design out of those available. There is a good reason for that. Firstly, it comes in 7 cool colours, and also is available in a full range of men's sizes from S to XXXL. The tee is exceptional value given that it is made from ringspun, preshrunk, soft cotton.

I have fond memories of the 80s cartoon series Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels by Hanna-Barbera, which followed the superhero caveman and three female amateur detectives. It originally aired from 1977 to 1980, and although I can no longer remember any of the episodes, I do remember that overly loud battle cry "Captain Caaaaavemaaaaaaan" (voiced by Mel Blanc) which kind of went slightly wobbly towards the end!

The T-shirt is a quirky choice for 80s dress-up, and is sure to capture a glance from plenty of people over a certain age.

I love the design on this stylish, slim fit, ringer T-shirt for ladies. As I write, the price is under £10, although this is subject to change, of course.

You can see a full range of Captain Caveman T-shirts that I've hand-picked on my website Simplyeighties.com. However, this is my personal favourite in terms of colour, size choices, and value for money.

Blondie - Debbie Harry - 70s and 80s Fashion Photos

Embed from Getty Images Debbie Harry Fridge Magnet Back in my school days (yes, it was a long, long time ago!) many kids associated Blondie purely with lead singer Debbie Harry, although Blondie was actually a band, and a damn fine one, too. It's not hard to see why. After all, she oozed sex appeal and became a style icon, and many of her looks can still be seen on the high street today. Harry's designer friend Stephen Sprouse can claim responsibility for many of those looks. He created every style you can imagine using denim, black leather biker jackets, camoflauge, wayfarer and aviator shades, pink and girly styles, nautical stripes, animal print catsuits - the list goes on! I find it amusing that in 1998 Britney Spears caused controversy by wearing a school uniform for her video "Hit Me Baby One More Time". How quickly we forget that Debbie Harry had done this two decades earlier! After forming in 1974, Blondie became pioneers of the punk and new wave s

Create an 80s Aerobics Fashion Look

Let's Get Physical 80s Workout Costume During the early 1980s, it felt like the whole world had gone aerobics crazy. Females everywhere donned leotards, leggings, headbands and legwarmers, and some were even on rollerskates! Pop stars and actresses were responsible for starting the craze. Olivia Newton-John started a headband fad after the release of here raunchy Physical video in 1981, and the song quickly became an aerobics anthem. And just about every home had a Jane Fonda workout video in their collection - often proudly on display on a book shelf in the living room, or carefully placed on a coffee table for all to see. However, contrary to popular belief, not everyone was wearing neon. Take a look back at the old workout videos and you'll see a whole range of colours and styles being worn. Some leotards were shiny, some had stripes and others were pastel. Zebra stripes, leopard print, and splatter paint designs were also worn by some. There were often (but not always)

An 80s Tennis Player Costume? You Cannot Be Serious!

While most people opt for a pop star theme when dressing up for an 80s party or event, one option that is a little more original is to dress like an 80s tennis player. The costumes I'm about to show are obviously based on John McEnroe, and I'm dead serious! The short-tempered tennis star became infamous for his confrontational behaviour towards the umpire during the 1980s, screaming "Answer my question! The question, jerk!" (when he angrily threw his racket at the juice cart) and "You can't be serious man, you cannot be serious!" when he thought the umpire had made a bad call about the ball being out. He was often booed by the crowds for his rants, but it was hugely entertaining to watch! Embed from Getty Images The look above is the one you should aim for, and this is the most iconic. So let's take a look at the fancy dress costume options available...   The white T-shirt and shorts outfit with red and blue stripes is based on McEnroe&
